I am an avid history buff and researcher. There are few things that make me happier than trolling around libraries (physical and online) and finding interesting tidbits of information from newspapers, cemetery records, and any other archival record.
Several years ago, my husband discovered a website called Find a Grave. It is a place for volunteers to document cemetery records and link other information to those memorials to assist the loved ones of those who have crossed over. The best feeling is knowing that you have helped someone else fill in some family history that they may not have known about or have not had any documentation of previously.
I hope you enjoy my quirky findings and perhaps you may find something on a loved one that you didn't know about.
